Catch of the day
This whimsical piece celebrates women in a field common to the east coast that is traditionally dominated by men - the fishery. I wanted to celebrate our culture and the ideology that women belong in the trades and can do anything they put their minds to. I think this piece would be a wonderful addition to the North End of Halifax, as it shows vibrancy, culture, history, and my style of illustration is approachable for people of all ages and backgrounds!
