My Mother’s Bloomers started in Halifax in 1992, on the busy Spring Garden Road. We moved our store to Creighton Street where we love being neighbours with some of the finest merchants in the city.

The store is owned by good friends, John MacPherson and Neville MacKay. Although John has a love of flowers (and is very good working with them), he does not work in the store, but provides moral support when needed! Neville works in the store full time along with the Bloomers team.

The North End of Halifax is located in Mi’kma’ki, the ancestral and unceded territory of the Mi’kmaq people. The people of the Mi’kmaw Nation have lived on this territory for millennia, and we acknowledge them as the past, present and future caretakers of this land.
