  • Description

A Tiny Lab is a place for children. This is their place to create, to explore, to wonder, to ask questions, to seek answers, to grow, to learn, to laugh, to cry, to experiment, to get messy, to sing, to shout, to problem solve, to take risks and to spend their days.

Our program is influenced by the Reggio Emilia approach to early childhood education. We view children as competent, curious, capable and full of potential. We understand that children have a need and desire to connect to the world around them and to establish meaningful relationships with others.

Our centre has been created with the premise that the environment acts as a ‘third teacher’ in the lives of children. Our classrooms and Lab space have been intentionally designed and organized to support and plan for various spaces for children to create, to learn and to explore.

We believe in emergent learning through play, exploration and discovery. An unhurried childhood. Respect for our community, environment and each other. Whole child development and life-long learning.
