  • Description

Risework Therapy is a modern psychotherapy and wellness practice offering approachable mental health support in the heart of Halifax’s North End. Our team provides individual and couples sessions, along with a growing range of wellness experiences, including yoga and breathwork, sound baths, community workshops and corporate wellness sessions. Our Halifax office on Charles Street is a warm, welcoming, and beautifully styled space with eclectic, modern decor that reflects our approach to therapy. It is designed to help people slow down, feel comfortable, and take a moment for themselves while receiving evidence-based support from skilled local therapists. We serve adults, couples, and professionals across Nova Scotia, providing in-person sessions as well as virtual therapy throughout several Canadian provinces. Our clinicians specialize in anxiety, self-worth, trauma, nervous system regulation, and relationship counselling. Beyond one-on-one support, Risework Therapy is committed to contributing to the vibrant Agricola Street community through collaborative wellness events, partnerships with local practitioners, and offerings that make mental wellness more accessible and help people slow down, reconnect with themselves, and feel more grounded in their daily lives. Our mission is to bridge mental health and overall wellness by creating a space where people feel comfortable, understood, and empowered to grow.

The North End of Halifax is located in Mi’kma’ki, the ancestral and unceded territory of the Mi’kmaq people. The people of the Mi’kmaw Nation have lived on this territory for millennia, and we acknowledge them as the past, present and future caretakers of this land.
