Get ready to roll!​

Lace up your skates and get ready for an evening of retro vibes, disco beats, and good times. The North End Business Association is excited to announce the first Retro Roller Disco on The Commons, with support from Halifax Regional Municipality, Quinpool Road, and Hard Patch!

What's happening

For one night, the Oval becomes a roller disco, with lights and live DJs that make people want to move!​

​

Come for a few laps, come for the whole night, or just come to watch from the side with a warm drink! 

​

Best costume prizes

Sequins, satin, tube socks, headbands, flares, whatever "retro" means to you, we want to see it. We'll be giving our prizes for the best costume!

Photo booth

There will be a photo booth on site to capture your Roller Disco look! Bring the group, bring the kids, bring the friend who swore they weren't dressing up.

Skates

Bring your own skates & helmet is recommended, however there are a limited number of skates & helmets available for rent, free of charge, at the Oval. Be sure to bring your ID for the rental, and please note that skate rentals are first come first serve, so show up early!
